Hutch and Harris restaurantThe Big Eat is an annual downtown event held on Tuesday nights in January and February during which participating restaurants offer special dishes at 50% off. It is a great opportunity to try a new restaurant and mix up your usual dining experience. This might make Tuesdays the new date night, at least through February!

In the past, the event has been coordinated by the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership, and is now coordinated through Triad Local. The annual event helps downtown restaurants get through the slower winter months. Reservations are recommended, as several restaurants sell out for The Big Eat, such as Spring House Restaurant and Mozelle’s, so be sure to call and book your Big Eat dinner early!
