Our Top Bookworm Pick this Weekend is the Bookmarks Festival of Books. The majority of festivities take place on Saturday, September 7, from 10am-5pm in the Downtown Arts District. More than 30 regional and national authors, illustrators and chefs converge on our city to talk about their books and offer readings, signings, workshops and performances. There will also be live entertainment and food vendors on hand. Best selling authors in attendance for this event include Debbie Macomber, James McPherson, Rachel Renee Russell, Bill Harley and more. Reynolda House & Historic District
The Reynolda Historic District, set in what is now the Buena Vista neighborhood of Winston-Salem, was once the 1,067-acre estate of tobacco barons Katharine Smith Reynolds and her husband Richard Joshua (R.
