FGMC (Forsyth Gem and Mineral Club) holds an annual show, September 5-7 from 10am-5pm, featuring a fantastic variety of gems, minerals, and fossils, exhibits, Geode cutting, and food. There will be vendors selling mineral and fossil specimens, jewelry components, fine and custom jewelry, tools, lapidary equipment, and more. FGMC members will be on hand to help identify minerals, provide lapidary demos (the cutting and polishing of stones and gems), and sell/cut geodes. Event held at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Education Building 421, W 27th Street, Gate 9, Winston-Salem. Admission: $3, kids free with an adult. See here for more information.
