The momentary weightlessness and the exhilarating feeling of flying through the air make jumping on a trampoline so much fun! Thick mesh fabric stretched and attached to frames with springs are the main features at Trampoline Parks. The parks are large rooms filled with trampolines, each with cushioned borders. There are usually sections strictly for young jumpers, and there may be foam pits for trying flips and other crazy tricks. It is much safer to try them there than on the trampolines. Many parks have additional fun activities, as well as amenities for non-jumpers.

There are three Trampoline Parks in Winston-Salem and a few more nearby. Each has its own unique features and fun activities. Look over the selections below to see what would work for your children. Be sure to see our Jumping Safely section for suggestions for a safe trip to the trampoline park.

Jumping Safely

Trampolines can be a great deal of fun, but they can also be dangerous. Injuries, paralysis, and even death can happen when rules aren’t followed, people are careless, or they try to show off. Here are some common sense suggestions to keep you safe while you have fun. Follow the park rules as well.

Do not wear clothes with hanging zippers, belts, hanging strings, or studs. Remove earrings and jewelry and empty pockets.

No roughhousing, tackling, pushing, or interfering with another jumper. No crashing into others.

Be aware of those around you, especially smaller children. Jump with people your own size.

No diving into foam pits.

Somersaults and flips are not recommended on trampolines and can cause serious injury.

No Climbing walls or nets.

Stay in the center of the trampoline to avoid the springs and frame.

Do not jump with anything in your hands (cell phone, keys).

No drug or alcohol use.
