The Quiet Pint Tavern Still Making Noise In Winston-Salem

The neighborhood bar and grill Quiet Pint opened its doors in November 2013. A decade later, it is a popular, well-known gastropub with a big following. This neighborhood tavern, serving on-tap craft beers, specialty drinks, and restaurant-quality food, has grown to be the place to go for a good time. With live music every week, food that consistently gets the best reviews, and a great atmosphere, it is no wonder it has high ratings.

The Menu

The food at Quiet Pint is a big attraction, with the menu featuring such things as Big Bang Shrimp, Mac n’ Cheese with Korean Pork, Cheese Smash Burger, Parmesan Garlic Fries, Black Bean Burger, Italian Flatbread, Margherita Flatbread, Gochujang Hot Chicken Wrap, Mahi-Mahi Street Taco, Hong Kong Street Noodles, Tuna Poke, and so much more.

The Quiet Pint Beginnings

Owner Dave Hillman developed the idea for the Quiet Pint; also the owner of Burke Street Pizza and West End Poke, he imagined that West End and Ardmore residents would flock to a small bar within walking distance, offering a unique experience and well-chosen food and drinks. He was right!

Designing The Bar And Logo

Hillman worked with Brian Duffy, a chef and restaurant consultant who regularly appears on the SpikeTV show “Bar Rescue,” to help develop the idea for The Quiet Pint. He also recruited AirType Studio, an award-winning Winston-Salem-based design and branding boutique consultant firm, as the logo and branding consultant for the Quiet Pint.

The small size of the Quiet Pint makes it an intimate place to meet with friends, and the location is convenient from anywhere. Catch the college and NFL action during the week and on Saturdays and Sundays. On weekend evenings, come listen to the great music out on the patio.
