Winston-Salem offers a decent selection of Japanese restaurants. From hibachi to sushi and steak houses, there’s something for every discerning Japanese culinary fan. The list of sushi rolls at many of these restaurants is extensive, and some offer the experience of hibachi (actually Teppanyaki), where the food is cooked at your table. The chef prepares the food with deft and showman-like movements, even performing tricks to entertain diners. The food, however you get it prepared, is a delicious treat. You will get hungry just by looking over our list and the menus before choosing where to go.

When You Are Out and About

Japanese food is so good, such a unique meal. I really enjoy a few of the sushi rolls, but not really spicy. The hibachi cooking is delicious and so much fun, though I have yet to catch that little piece of shrimp they toss you.

There may not be any Japanese restaurants close by when you are out in the city of Winston-Salem, but there are plenty of downtown restaurants! You have your choice of many types and styles; just look and see. You’ll find somewhere that tingles your taste buds!

What is your favorite Japanese sushi roll and is it spicy? Let us know in the comments.
